Sapphire Joust
Team Competition (Saturday): It is evident that the bardic
tradition is alive and well in fair Atlantia. We have seen
evidence of this time and again from Coronation to Tournament
of Chivalry. Now, however, we would like to test your mettle
in a Team Competition to be held at Sapphire Joust on Saturday
May 24th, 2008! Competition specifics are as follows:
- Each team must consist of 2 – 5 bards; a spiffy
team name is encouraged!
- The competition itself will take place in 5 rounds, with
a five minute time limit
- Each round will have a different "theme." More
information on themes will be posted closer to the date
of the event.
- Have at least one period piece and written documentation
ready.
- ALL performance types are welcome and encouraged
Performance Workshop (Sunday)
On Sunday, May 25th, we would also like to host our 2nd
Performance Workshop for all interested parties. This workshop
will include feedback on performances and discussions on method,
documentation, and promotion of the bardic arts. Again, all
forms of performance/performers are welcome! Times to be determined.
